Digitalisation of administrative licenses (including the MSMD)

Notification of the issuance of Electronic Certificates by the French Maritime Administration

Please be advised that as of February 1, 2018 the French Maritime Administration is issuing the Minimum Safe Manning Document (MSMD) as electronic documents. Notification to Member States was made with the IMO. The authenticity and the validity of these documents may be confirmed and verified online through the web verification portal at: https://promete.din.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/promete/rechercherAuthentificationPa?language=en.

If there is any question regarding the validity and authenticity of a MSMD, a request for verification may also be adressed to the RIF Office via: rif@mer.gouv.fr or +33 (0) 4 86 94 67 50.
