Digitalisation of the certificates of registry

Notification of the Issuance of Electronic Certificates of registry by the French Maritime Administration

Please be advised that as of April 1, 2023, the French Maritime Administration is issuing the Certificate of registry as electronic documents. Notification to Member States is in progress through the IMO. The authenticity and the validity of these documents may be confirmed and verified online through the web verification portal at: https://promete.din.developpement-durable.gouv.fr/promete/rechercherAuthentificationCe?language=en.

If there is any question regarding the validity and authenticity of a Certificate of registry, a request for verification may also be adressed to the RIF Office via: rif@mer.gouv.fr or +33 (0) 4 86 94 67 50.
