The RIF Office was as the Posidonia Exhibition
On the sidelines of the Posidonia Exhibition in Athens, a delegation from DGAMPA, including the RIF team, met with Greek and international maritime stakeholders to promote the excellence of French shipping and the French International Register. The goal and commitment remain constant: to develop our young fleet undergoing an eco-energy transition as well as maritime employment, to attract maritime value creation to our territory, and to support French shipping stakeholders
To mark its 20th anniversary, the RIF organized a “French Event” at the French Residence in Athens, with the support of the French Embassy in Greece, to whom we extend our heartfelt thanks, in partnership with Armateurs de France and Filhet Allard Maritime, and with the honor of being attended by French Minister of Transport Philippe TABAROT and Greek Minister of Maritime Affairs and Island Policy Vassilis KIKILIAS.
The event was very well received by the 250 shipping professionals in attendance, who were able to make many new connections.
The DGAMPA delegation’s visit concluded with its participation in a working meeting chaired by the two ministers, during which representatives and partners of French and Greek shipowners discussed the key issue of decarbonizing the maritime sector.
