Maritime social service association (SSM)
The Maritime Social Service (SSM) association is the local interlocutor for seamen affiliated to the ENIM social security regime, answering questions on occupational health, prevention of professional exclusion or quality of life at work.
With a strong geographical network around the 33 main French ports (including 3 overseas territories), the SSM brings its expertise to maritime companies and their employees on a daily basis, and thus improves their awareness and access to rights at each stage of their career: from entry into the profession, during professional life, to preparation for retirement.
