Collective bargaining agreements

For seafarers who work on board ships registered under the French flag with the RIF and who reside in France, there is a mandatory application of the provisions set by the collective conventions (agreements) mentioned below.

Maritime transport sector:

• Collective bargaining agreement (CBA) of November 19, 2012 for officers at sea of transport and maritime services companies

• National collective agreement of November 30 for ratings (non-officer) at sea 1950 pdf - 241.3 kb

Towage sector:

• National collective agreement for officers at sea employed by towage companies ;
• National collective agreement for ratings at sea employed by towage companies
