Health control for ships

In accordance with provisions of Article 39 and Annex 3 of the International Health Regulations (2005), any ship engaged in international voyages shall be able to present a valid ship sanitation control exemption Certificate/sanitation control Certificate to States Parties requesting it.

This requirement applies regardless of the ship type: passenger ships (cruise ships, ferries…), cargo ships (tankers, grain carriers, container ships …), fishing vessels.
