Security commissions 2024 schedule
Based on the yacht length, the entity in charge of the application review for the ship commissioning differs:
- for yachts with a length of hull (LH) less than 24 meters, the regional safety commission (CRS) under the interregional Directorate of the Mediterranean Sea (DIRM MED) is competent;
- for yachts with a hull length of 24 meters or above and a gross tonnage less than 3,000, the central safety commission (CCS) under the Directorate General for Maritime Affairs, Fisheries and Aquaculture (DGAMPA) is competent.
